ABOUT ME
Hello, I'm Scott
WHERE I COME FROM
I’m a California native, and for nearly 20 years, I’ve been proud to call Needles home. This community is more than just where I live. It’s where I’ve built my life, worked, served, and watched our city grow and change over the years.
A THRIVING CAREER
I've served multiple terms on the Needles Planning Commission, where I've been actively involved in decisions affecting the growth and development of the city.
Through that experience, I have gained firsthand knowledge of the challenges Needles faces as well as the opportunities available to strengthen the local economy and prepare the community for the future.
Hard work has been a part of my life for decades. I've spent much of his career in the construction industry and also work for BNSF Railway as a train conductor.
My railroad and construction background has given him practical experience working with infrastructure, development, transportation, and the hardworking people who keep communities moving.
WHY I'M RUNNING
As a member of the City Council, I want to focus on attracting new businesses, encouraging responsible growth, and creating more reasons for travelers to stop, stay, shop, eat, and spend their dollars in Needles.
Expanding the local business community can strengthen the city's tax base and help generate additional revenue for essential services and improvements without placing the entire burden on local residents.
MISSION STATEMENT
Working to make Needles a destination, strengthen local business, and build a better future for our community.
I believe Needles has tremendous potential. Located along historic Route 66, Interstate 40, the Colorado River, and a major railroad corridor, Needles has an opportunity to become a true destination for travelers while remaining a community its residents are proud to call home.
